If I give improvement only in maths and be absent in rest of the subjects, what will be written in the final marksheet that I will receive?

I applied for all 5 subjects in CBSE improvement exam 2020. If I give only maths exam and be absent in rest of the subjects, what will be written in the final physical marksheet that I will receive? Will the previous marks get carried over and get printed or will it be marked absent?

If you choose to give improvement only in mathematics and are absent for the rest of the subjects, typically, your final marksheet will reflect the improved marks only for mathematics. The original marks for the other subjects where you were absent will likely remain unchanged. It's essential to confirm this with your examination board or school to understand how they record such instances, as policies can vary. Ensure you clarify this before proceeding to avoid any misunderstandings about your final academic record.

The CBSE board improvement exams provide students with an opportunity to improve their marks, there will be no reduction in the marks because even if you score lower than your previous examination marks then the previous year's marks will be considered.
