If I go for Diploma and then for B.Tech degree, is it valuable?

I've got 42% in class 12th and then got failed in two subjects. Should I give class 12th again and then give joint entrance exam and then go for college or go for Diploma?

    Hello Aditya,
You can reappear for 12th if you have confidence that you can score more than present. Or you can go for 3 year Diploma on the basis of 10th Standard Percentage. The Choice is yours. Its not about value it's about if you really wanna do that or not. If you really wanna do Engineering and have passion and interest in that you can go for Engineering or can change you career stream. You can either choose Diploma then Degree or you can reappear for 12th. Also please analyse why you scored so low. Hi Aditya,
    Eligibility for B.Tech:
Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or any technical vocational subject as an optional subject with a minimum of 50% taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects. So, both the ways are fine. But I would suggest you reappear for Class 12th exam then give the Joint Entrance Exam and then go for a good college.
