If I have booked a slot at the GMAT test center, but due to restrictions in my area, can I transfer that registration to a GMAT online exam?

If a candidate has booked a slot at the test center it cannot be rescheduled to a different mode for that attempt. Candidates need to book the GMAT online exam again to attempt the test online.
