If I have done BCA and I am looking for MCA, how many years will MCA be for me because some colleges are saying me to do a 3-year course?

A normal MCA course consists of 3 years, whereas a lateral entry course consists of two years. If you join MCA after B.Sc, you must do 3 year MCA course. But, if you join MCA after BCA, then you can join lateral system and completing this in 2 years.
