If I have done my UG in economics, can I study Maths at PG in DU?

3 years agoMy dear candidate, I'm glad to have you. The M.A. In Mathematics and the M.Sc. In Mathematics are the same programme. There isn't a separate reservation for M.A. Or M.Sc. Because if the student has taken B.A. , they are given M.A. , and if they have B.Sc. , they are given M.Sc. This programme has a two-year duration. Students will either be admitted directly (Mode I) or through an entrance exam to the M.A. /M.Sc. Programme (Mode II). Candidates for admission must have graduated under the 10+2+3 programme or a programme with a similar requirement. -

Well to study Maths at PG level in du you must have Maths as your subject in all semesters in your under graduation course. In eco hons I think you don't have Maths as a main subject so according to best of my knowledge you can't study Maths at PG in du.
