If I have interest in both aerospace and computer science. Then in which field among these will be a better option for placement from IIT's

As you are interested in two domains of engineering and also thinking about placements and also package provided by the company then you may choose computer science because in IIT's many of the software companies will show interest to take more number of people and you will have more opportunities to place because there are so many IT companies around us. But if we compare the same thing to aerospace we have intake for freshers in DRDL,DRDO,ISRO etc like government research centers which ask for very good and effective students in that sector. As well as you can apply for the jobs in airports based on the post you are willing to work by forwarding your resume to recruiter of the staff when you completed the graduation. The average package offered in IIT's is about 6 lakhs per annum is the minimum or average we can say. Think twice and thrice and choose a good one . All the best!

aerospace and cse both gives you better placement . you have interest in both but how you see yourself in a mirror as an aeronautical engineer working in NASA or as an software engineer working in google.
