If I have qualified JEE Mains with 50 marks will I get a seat in NIT, Calicut for computer engineering? I belong to OBC category.

    Hello Muhammad,
    Merely having a valid score or clearing minimum marks specified for OBC will not get you anywhere. These days, OBC students are scoring quite handsomely and you need to score much more. For computer engineering that too in NIT-Calicut, you need to have a percentile of 70 in your category.

    Just clearing the cut-off with low marks can't give you 100% assurance of securing admission in NITs because your rank will be very high.

    You can't be able to get the CSE in NIT Calicut with this score, as your score is quiet low for this branch and college as well.
