    Hello,
B.Sc Aircraft Maintenance Science - Aircraft Maintenance Science, as used in the United States, refers to an individual who holds a mechanic certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration; the rules for certification, and for certificate-holders, are detailed in Subpart D of Part 65 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR's), which are part of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT's) inspect and perform or supervise maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft systems. All the best.

Hi, although nothing apart 10+2 is required to become a pilot. It has got no relevance with flying or your selections or promotions etc. But doing a graduation is always good. You have a backup just in case you retire early or become medically unfit due to some reasons your degree may support your living. Even after retiring you may get into management with such graduation. Like I said 10+2 is the minimum requirement. It is a compulsory requirement which can never be superseded by any graduation for eligibility for that matter. Hence, you may join pilot training parallel to your graduation provided 10+2 is in PCM 50% aggregate marks.

Yes. In fact a lot of pilots I know are B.Sc. Aviation. In India, you need to have Maths and Physics in Higher Secondary. A lot of emphasis is on medical fitness. A medically unfit person will not be issued CPL by DGCA. So you just need to ensure that you have all your medical tests are normal. It's better to go for CPL after B.Sc. Aviation.
