if i'm getting IT in IIIT Allahabad and Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar, then wat should i choose? Why? interest no bar.

Yes. NIT has better placements and mechanical opens up vast opportunities in future.. You can get placements in good core companies and do some real engineering work there.

Mechanical will always be better and may have a upper hand over IT.and as placements are concerned NIT is better.

if u luk at it from the placement's point of view thn mech in NIT is btr!!
