    JEE Mains and advance are just the exams to sleect meritorious students for admission in NIT IIT. To have your studies in any NIT, IIT you have to pay the fees accordingly.

    Yes, you need to. JEE exams are used to get admissions into IITs but they are not used to give you scholarships. You can get some scholarships based on your caste or any other category. But you have to pay fees to study in IITs.
