If i pursue M.com first then will i be eligible for CAT ? I have got 49% in graduation but i want to do full time MBA.

    You are eligible to give the CAT exam but still cannot satisfy the 'minimum 50% in graduation' criteria.

    You are eligible for CAT, but you will not get a call from any good B-School as they require at least 50% marks in graduation.

    For doing MBA from AICTE/UGC approved colleges in India you need at least 50% of marks in bachelor's degree.
    After doing M.com also it is not possible for you to get admission because your UG degree marks is the basic eligibility for getting admission for MBA so that it will be considered first(Mandatory) then only your Xth,XIIth or any other PG qualification marks if necessary but not mandatory.

As per the info. available on the website of the institute, the institute give prefrences to those students who have secured scored in the management entrance exams, such as CAT/ XAT/ CUET PG/ MAT. Thus, CAT scores can be considered as one of the factor for selecting the students. However, it is not compulsory.
