If I qualify in JEE Mains exam, then can I get admission in IITs? What is the procedure?

Dear Sana! To be straight; For NITs and State Level engineering college, you need to score in JEE Mains Exam. However, for IITs and other national level engineering colleges you need to score in JEE Advance. Your Selection is also depends upon your category. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

It depends upon your category as well as marks you scored in the JEE main exam. For instance, if you are a general category and scored around 180-200 marks in JEE mains, then you may get the NIT or even IIIT. If you score 130-150 marks, you might get any NIT, which I cannot be sure of. And, it can happen that you cannot even get any college. But, you are eligible to give the JEE advance. Then in that, you must score greater than the minimum marks required.
