If I score 90% in 12th can I get admission in petroleum engineering in UPES?

    I am not quite aware of Petroleum Engineering at UPES but I must say Petroleum Engineering is purely centered on integrated approaches of Sciences and Engineering practices in the Oil & Gas Industry. This involves technological undertakings and emphasis of the same in the application of the concepts in Petroleum Exploration, Drilling, Production, Reservoir Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, Refinery Operations, LNG Value Chain, Petrochemicals and Natural Gas Processing.     It depends on the pathway you select and the merit list generated. Mostly, you will get it.

    No, taking admission in any particular branch is not based upon 12th percentage. It is totally based upon the rank of that college's exam.

    Yes, with this grand percentage you can not just grab admission in UPES but scholarship too through the board merit list.
    Also, you can get admission through JEE Mains score but do give the entrance test of the university i.e. UPESEAT exam.

    That's really good if you got more than 90% marks but for getting admission in any good college you have to appear in the exam organized by them. UPES conduct their own exam named UPESEAT so you can apply for this for getting admission here. The last date for applying is April 20, 2018 and exam is conducted between May 11 to 13.
