If I study CMA USA, will I be able to get jobs in India?

As per the latest MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) signed between Institute of Management Accountants (US) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, if an Indian candidate pursuing CMA US sit for the exams in any country other than India (provided that country conduct tests under Pro-metric facility, e.g. Sri Lanka, Bhutan etc. these countries don't have Pro-metric centers), he/she will get CMA (India) or Indian Cost Accountant degree by default.
To put it simply, candidates can save two important things:
INR 1,00,000-1,50,000 (cost of study for CMA India)
4-5 years of strenuous study

Hi. In private sector you will be eligible, but there is no guarantee. Though the CMA course is not governed by any legal boundaries, top MNCs and major Fortune 500 companies in India have high demand for CMA USA. If you are planning to apply for a government or PSU job, then there is limited scope with a CMA USA award. Also, CMA USA has limited practice scope in India. You should go through leading job portals and check out the vacancies and norms before opting for the course.
