To join Indian army after Engineering, there is University entry scheme, SSC entry, TGC entry, CDS etc. And, BE in IT will be very helpful. As our Army have a Branch called Military Intelligence, Army Signal Corps, where they need a person of IT or CS sector. You are eligible for it.

Mostly, university entry scheme for Indian Army is for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical students. BE and IT won't help as much as E and TC and Mechanical will do.
