You can do it as per your interest, LPU is one unique university which not only curates these programs with professional rigors in the focus but also offers the pathways programs for employment in corporate, in government sector and also further studies. DVD.
  • B.A. And B.A. Honours both are good option for UPSC CSE. In B.A. Course you have to study three different subjects say political Science, history and geography, means 50% of syllabus has also been covered if you take political Science as your optional then around 40 % already covered. So doing B.A. Course will increase your chances.

Hello Prince, both the subjects are equally important as per syllabus of upsc. I would suggest you to go with history because it takes a lot to remember each and everything in that subject. You can study geography at home, also geography is quite interesting than history so you can do it by yourself :) history needs a bit more concentration so pursue history honors. Hope you get it :)

Choose History, if you are fine with remembering a lot of stuffs, like dates of wars, names of people and places, the sequence of events, the various acts like the Pitts act, the charter acts etc.
Geography would help, if you are analytical.

Geography will be better comparing to history honors. Again it depends on your personal interest, so you know the best about you.

You should go with History Honours which will automatically cover 40%+ of prelims and paper 1 of Mains as new revised syllabus (2013) is concerned.

You have to find out about your own interest in either subject. You can do the following-
    1. You can ask some of your seniors about the difficulty level of either subject.
    2. Second of all, you have to keep in mind that history is purely a theory subject and geography a theory+ practical subject.
    3. You can take mock tests of either subject after studying. Hope you will get your answer.
