If I want to pursue engineering as my career option. Which is the best field in that which I can pursue and which is in demand nowadays?

Based on my knowledge software engineering is at great demand in comparison to mechanical. One of my friend has done software engineering from IGDTUW, Delhi. They have good placements of course and you can work abroad also. Choose what interests you the most. All the best.
