If I want to study quantum computing after my engineering, which engineering branch should I choose, mechanical engineering or CSE?

You have to choose computer's because along with quantum computing you need to learn some more about the subject where you can find it in the computer's rather than from mechanical. So, I suggest you to opt for computers.

Of course, you should to choose CS. Now, the question is that- Is there any career in Quantum Computing or not? The answer is Yes, but only for Ph.D. holders and that in academic research mostly (in top universities in USA, Europe and Japan) and some in corporate R&D labs, like IBM Research, Microsoft Research, Google Research, etc. Ph.D. in Quantum Computing needs a background in both Computer Science & Quantum Mechanics (Physics).
