Its better if you take a pg diploma from Canada as the PR will be possible easily after two years and you also need to fulfill the licensing procedure if you wish to work in this sector. -
For PR to Canada I am afraid the Distance learning programs might not get you the elusive points in express entry system. While the qualification may get you a relevant job in Canada.
