If MAT is also available for the entrance in MBA colleges then why CAT being so tough is being chosen by students?

    Hello Nandini. Both CAT and MAT are Pan-India entrance examinations for admissions into management programs. CAT significantly differs from MAT in terms of difficulty, pattern and acceptability. While CAT scores are accepted widely across all B-Schools including Iims and IITs, MAT scores are not. MAT scores are accepted by reputed private management institutions.     CAT is accepted in almost all reputed B-Schools. All Iims accept CAT but MAT is not acceptable in Iims rather it is accepted in some IITs and other B-Schools So, if you aim to get admission in Iims CAT is must.
