If the university from where I have done my graduation is declared as fake, would that affect my professional career?

I did my graduation from Delhi Commercial University in 2008. I have also done my executive MBA from Belgium University (UBI). Now it has come to light that Commercial University is declared as fake.

    Yes, it would affect your professional image and that would also lead to that they will ask you to leave the job and also a strict action would be taken by the government and you would be nullified further to apply for any type of job.

    Yes, it would be illegal to lie about or forge a document like this- mainly where applying for work is concerned. However I can guess why one would ask this question and I have never heard of any job, anywhere, checking with a high school to see if you actually graduated. It wouldn't even be an issue if you didn't know how to reduce a fraction or something after being hired, since most people forget most of what they learned in school anyway I had a Secret clearance for working on governmental data networks and I don't think they even verified high school for that.
