If we do MCA data analytics it's equal to computer Science engineering?

The B.Tech CSE and MCA both are eligible for GATE exam. So both are eligible for doing M.Tech CSE in IIT and NITs. However for UPCS (Indian Engineers Services) the MCA degree holders are not eligible to apply. Hence MCA is not equivalent to B.Tech CSE.
