IGNOU-MBA(operations) or Sikkim-Manipal MBA(project management). which is better?

Hi Yuv, As Shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance itwould e unfair on my part to give my personal opinion. However, frankly speaking as both are distance learning programmes are placed equally. However, IGNOU being one of the oldest Institute and quite renowned in the job market, is given more preference amongst the employers. I would also like to add here that few of the things which you should keep in mind while choosing any institute are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, the infrastructure, the faculty(their educational background), the placement, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute. Hope this resolves your query. After an MS its better that you carry on with a Doctoral level program than do a management course. The courses you have mentioned have equal demand but are mainly pursued by, but not certainly limited to Mechanical Engineering streams. You can also find applications of Mechanical Engineering concepts during some part of the course.
