IIT ROPAR vs DTU for mechanical engineering?
Plus point for ropar is its director is professor of mechanical branch and negative is, it's still a new iit and may lack infrastructure and its alumni network is very small. DTU is same as you know before. The only negative point of DTU is lack of exposure due to 85% delhi crowd.

Hey there,
Thanks for a2a.
You are getting IIT, Ropar and DTU mechanical branch. Same was happened to me last year, I was getting IIT Dhanbad/DTU mechanical, I decided to pursue my B.Tech in DTU because mechanical branch of DTU is the oldest one and is comparable to some of the IITs but you can't compare it to the new IITs, because they are still in developing zone. However, in DTU, you might have to suffer to fetch good GPA as some professor are very good and some are very bad. Also, it's all depends on you and what you will after 4 years that will make you deserve to fetch your dream job in your dream company.
I hope this will help you. -
