    Hi Hemant,
Nice to know your interest in the stream of animation, Now as per your query Graphic designing is all about designing of leaflets brouchers visiting cards etc( all types of printable material) and animation is all about motion (putting life in non living things and characters designed by us) as both are the part of multimedia, are different from each other, better would be to visit a nearby institute to your place and then probably take the counselling related to both the stream, only then you would be able to take the decision.
If this answer helps mark it as the best or else like it for appreciation.
    All the best

    Hello Hemant,
Graphic Design and Visual Communication is foundation for animation. For your information graphic is static art and animation is dynamic art (art in motion). Consider following tips in this regards-

    • Learning Software alone won't help you. First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software's for expressing skills in the Digital Medium
    • Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity

However, you must first check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to mak
