Hmmm.What is ur budget.Better prefer HP Pavilion G6-2320TX Laptop (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 1GB Graph
and u can compare with Dell Inspiron 15R 5521 Laptop (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 500GB/ Win8) .check out on Flipkart.com

No there are not any specific laptops.
but being an IT student ,prefer HP or LENOVO with 4GB ram.
lenovo G580 is a very good option.
it is cheaper and good.
