im in 11th i wanna do software engineering and wanna clear ifs im confused

actually im not confused i wanna do ifs but i think if i counld not clear the exam then the alternative is software engineering so which stream should i choose for this and what should be my strategy and i should concentrate on which type of subject please tell me in details
