Yes, you can. Admission in IIIT Delhi in B.Tech CSE course is done through the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) by using the JEE Main Paper-1 scores. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech CSE is given below:
Eligibility criteria: 80 percent marks in aggregate for five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry and Math) and 80% in Mathematics in class XII from CBSE Board or equivalent.
So if you have adequate JEE Main score and meet the above eligibility criteria then you can get admission here in the desired course. -
YES, you can get admission for computer science.
CSE in 12th is recommended but not necessary.
I opted for electronics in class 12th and now, I am doing BE in CSE with no problem.
You will face a little difficulty in the first semester as your classmates might have opted for CSE in their 12th class and it will take time for you to understand few basics of programming language but after a little practice, you will be good to go.
Also in most of the universities, the first year is pretty basic where you would learn a programming language. If you had taken CS in school, then you would just revise it.
