Dear Roshan , IME(Institute of Mechanical engineers ) is a professional body set up by govt. IME is approved by AICTE & also by Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD) for Govt Jobs. IME qualification is valid for jobs and higher studies through out India , so there is no problem. Good Luc
