Your son's score are very good throughout. But to get admission in IIMs, he needs CAT score of 99.5 percentile or above. Now it means 10 percentile improvement over this year score. He will require to systematically analyse as how to improve this through methodical preparations. talk to him, can he do it in next 5 months, is he so focused? If he is confident, allow him. In any case, if he does not succeed, will again qualify for IIFT. One year in life is nothing to pursue a good and attainable dream.
