    IIT Kharagpur student must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as the major subjects. The candidates must have a minimum of 50-60% of marks in Class 12 to register for admission.

    To get admission in IIT Kharagpur student must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as the major subjects. The candidates must have a minimum of 50-60% of marks in Class 12 to register for admission. Firstly, the candidates must clear JEE Main (Paper 1) exam and then JEE Advanced exam with a decent rank to get B.Tech CSE at IIT Kgp.

    12th score of 50% is eligible for B. Tech and you can do engineering after completing B.Sc. There are lateral entry exams that are conducted by AICTE approved colleges. You must take entry through these entrance tests. Based on the rank of the entrance, take admission in the preferred institute. And you should get at least 50% in those exams for private colleges and if you want to do nit or IIT then you should get at least 75% in JEE mains exam.
    After passing JEE Mains, you must write JEE Advanced which will be of MCQ as well as fill-ups type. In that, you must secure a rank below 6k (may vary each year) to get any top course like ECE,
