In future want to work as faculty. Should i do mtech in my core brach or ms. I am working as an IT professional.

Hi,i am working as software engineer-having 8 year of exp,done B.E in mech-want to work as faculty in eng colleges in future.should i go MS in IT or mtech in my core branch-confused?plz guide.Also want to know how will be the demand for MS IT in faculty?

Dear Suman, You shall pursue an M.E./ M.Tech. in your core branch so that you shall be considered qualified teacher at college level. Even Ph.D. Shall be possible in the relevant area. Teaching faculty requires in Engineering from relevant branches.
