    Hi Apoorva, Gynecology, also known as Obstetrics, is a branch of medical science that essentially deals with the diagnosis and treatments of female reproductive system.
    The first degree that you need to have in order to specialize in gynecology is MBBS. After earning this degree, joining MD in the field of gynecology is the next stride. After MD in gynecology, you can register yourself with some medical association or join a Nursing Home or any of the state owned hospitals. You can work as specialist in various fields like Gynecology oncology, Critical care medicine, Reproductive endocrinology or maternal-fetal medicine.
