In how many years can I complete my B.Tech?

I am pursuing B.Tech from WBUT.

B.Tech is a 4-year degree course. If you have done Diploma in engineering, then you can get direct admission in the second year of B.Tech.

I haven't appeared for my exams last year. Can I continue them this year? What is the maximum year limit to complete B.Tech?
