The chartered accountant course is divided into three stages, The first stage is the foundations exam for which you at least need 6 months for preparation after your class 12th is completed. The second stage is the intermediate exam in which you can only appear if you have completed foundation exam in this stage you can clear 8 papers in a minimum time of 1 year and which made range up to 1.5 years depending upon the attempts you take, After completing intermediate course you need to undergo 3 years of articleship under a practicing chartered accountant or in an organisation. Normally, it takes three-four years to complete a Chartered Accountant course. Many candidates are unable to clear all three levels on the first attempt so they go for second, and third attempts to clear all the levels of the Chartered Accountant exam. Depends on you. How you have prepared for CA exams. If you complete everything in one attempt, then it will take you 3 years.
