In IELTS(academic),What is the pattern to be followed in writing an essay in writing module:Task-2,comprising of atleast 250 words?

When given a task,say"Music-These Days",I initially start with the past,about how people used to be with it earlier, in about 50 words, and then find a way to relate it to the given task. Is this the way to approach or should we directly focus on the required task given?

Hi, As the medium of education in universities abroad is english so all the international students whose first or native language is not english have to take IELTS test to prove their english proficiency. I would request @||Adar Consultancy|| to share her expert opinion on this. All the Best.
