In January JEE Mains I got 92.96 percentile under OBC category. If my percentile increase in April attempt should I go for LNMIT or LPU?

You must know the parameters on which to compare the college/university. Some are mentioned as follows: Curricula : The course curricula of any tech degree must be very unique and dynamic. These are must for placements as well as performance in the jobs. Exposure : The students must be exposed to large number of guest lectures and talks by industry experts, large number of events in university to enhance their organizing and networking kills, large number of social work initiatives to develop the right orientation. And many more. Diversity of students and faculty:We must choose a campus which has diversity of teachers and students from all over the world. Studying and working with such diverse sets of people makes a person learn cross cultural sensibilities and most importantly team work, thus making the students global citizens. Entrepreneurship opportunities: The college/university must have innovation labs, business incubator, design thinking labs and SEED capital facility by management so that students can explore entrepreneurship as a career. Placements: The campus must have solid track record of attracting good number of employers to recruit the talented students. The placements must not only be measured in terms of monetary rewards, but also in terms of diversity of positions, job descriptions, job locations offered and also the number of students placed. I think LPU is miles ahead in all these parameters as it is itself a University. Per my experience of last 16 years, I can say that LPU is far ahead of any other private university/college in all the above parameters, current passing batch has seen 600+ companies coming to campus for recruitment! If you are getting government college then it is well and good else you can think of LPU as a good options Placement of LPU is good as the highest is 12 lakhs offered by Amazon India and the average is 4 lakhs. If you are taking hostel then don't go for mess food.

Your JEE percentile is good enough to get admission in LPU or LMNIT. I personally recommend going for LPU as it provides a good scholarship to students. Your applicable fee in LPU after scholarship of 40% would be Rs. 54,000/semester. Also, placements in LPU are better than LMNIT, and LPU is a more famous and renowned university with a great infrastructure.

Hello Alok, first of all congratulations on scoring very good percentile in your JEE Mains examination, as per your rank you will get good branches at LMNIT, however I will recommend you to appear in April Mains also to improve your percentile to get top-notch colleges, if you fail to score more than your previous score then please go for LNMIT only LPU is not as good as LNMIT. If you will be going for LPU, you will be availed with scholarship as stated in the 2019 prospectus which you can check at the site of lpu.co.in and if you will be having an increased percentile, then also you will be getting additional scholarship. Rest, you can consult the authorities after exploring the site.

Getting into colleges like LPU or somewhere doesn't mean like Do or Die thing. I am also a student of LPU and currently in 3rd year. Whatever I have experienced now is that LPU provides you many opportunities to be a golden version of yourself and the rest of the things depends on the efforts you put on yourself.
