In jee main counselling which rank is considered home state rank or all india rank.i got 4468 rank in home state and 138463 in all india
Can i get nit suratkal or which nit can i get.i come under OBC category.

Abdullah it is on the basis of your AIR that you participate in counselling for NIT and then on the basis of your state rank it is seen whether you fall in the quota meant for students of that particular state. You can hope of getting a seat in NIT Suratkal for some of the good branches. Check the l

Dear Abdullah, this means you are from Karnataka. But for NIT - AIR rank is considered though your home state NIT gives 50% reservation for home state students, with this rank it seems to be difficult. You may try with North-East NITs & if not NIT, there are many other good private colleges accept J
