In most php websites CMS's (wordpress,joomla) are taking over. So will it be waste of time learning html5 &css3(bcoz we don't hav to design)

i am a b.tech(cse) 2012 graduate. Presently learning WEB DESIGNING and PHP+MYSQL. At first i wanted to be a web designer. But in CMS's we don't use much skill of designing. Only medium to big websites use their custom designs. so i'm a bit worried about my carrer........................

Hello Prashanth It is nice to know that you are learning the skills, which will make you employable. Learning HTML5 and CSS won't be waste of time, 'caz they are utilized by a wide range of companies. Trends internationally are for sure towards Joomla, Wordpress etc. You must strengthen your skills
