Dear Sameeksha, Without any doubt, it's a Lovely Professional University which is famous not in the North, in fact, famous all over the India and world for its placements and infrastructure. I always think about LPU when it comes to placements. LPU provides very good placement every year in all the programs. Almost more than 90% of students are placed on campus at LPU. Moreover, more than 500+ companies visit LPU for recruitment including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got Golden Star Award 2018 for being University with the best placements in India. Being an alumnae I have experienced LPU placements very closely. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons. ). (CSE- Data Science & Data Engineering), B.Tech (Hons. ). (CSE- Cyber Security and BlockChain/), B.Tech (Hons. ). (CSE- Full Stack Software Development). With time they had introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. Being a alumni of LPU, I would say LPU offers best placements for B.Tech CSE students. In my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and has practical exposure, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. As per my research, many universities has good placements record but LPU is the best university having good placements for the B.Tech CSE programme. The highest package was 42 LPA offered by Microsoft in 2020. I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, but preparing the students up to such a level that they can crack any interview is equally important. So, I have observed, LPU faculty members, put in a lot of efforts to get the students placed. So, preparing the students to such a level is more important and putting up efforts for that is more important and that what LPU always takes care of. University has a separate placement enhancement department, which focuses on the overall development of students. University keeps on conducting, guest lectures, seminars, live projects, hands-on training, sharing views and experiences by the experts and many more events which helps the students to broaden their thoughts and cope with the corporate world. In my batch I remember, almost 95% of students were placed and there were many who got the multiple packages as well. I was one of them, I remember my day I am hopping around the campus and was looking around which option to choose, Finally, I landed up choosing HCL, with which I am currently working as well since the last 4 years and have received many promotions and hikes. All I dedicate that to my faculty members and mentors at LPU. They helped me in choosing the right decision at that time as well. Students are trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Talking about my another life experience where we were asked to be a part of some live project in my second year and I was wondering, whether I am capable enough to be a part of such a grand project from an MNC, but when eventually I started working, I realized I can do that and I had that much knowledge to cope up with such projects.
