No, you don't have to choose the specialization at the time of your admission. There is a proper form of choosing your specializations after you join ITM. Specializations are always chosen in 2nd year but now some colleges offer specialised courses like PGDM HR, PGDM finance in those you have to choose from 1st year only and you even can't change that.
