in UK MSc engg. is 1 year course,but in othr countries it is 2 years.Why it is like this? Is 1 year course hv less value than 2 year course?

is 1 year MSc engineering course in UK have same value of the 2 year MSc engg course in other countries like US, Grrmany, Australia etc?

Hi, The duration of masters level course in UK is 1 year whereas its 2 years in US. The universities in US require 16 years of education for admission in masters program, whereas universities in UK require 15 years of education for admission in masters program. The masters degree awarded by UK un

In US all Pg are 2 year programe and Aus it is one and half year and in UK it is one year. In US 2 year out of 104 weeks classes will be only on 60 weeks. rest will be holidays. In Austrslia within the one and half year the same 60 weeks classes. You are not sudying more in 2yrs and less in 1 year p

no it hav not less value , you have to do all syllabus in that country , eg also in india there is ONe year MBA or MS course but only for working executive , every country have their own education system

Arjun...It makes no difference. But the study workload is bigger and cost of education is higher in a two year degree. A two year course has value only if it offers a nominal 6-month internship in a company. Most often this is not the case in a two year course.
