In vit 1year M.Tech fee structure. And what means category.

The category will define the merit list of the students. The students will be called for counseling based on the scores. I could explain with the example saying Rank 1 to Rank 2000 will be put up in Category 1 and the category 2 will have rank holders between Rank 2001 to 3500 and the rest into category 3. The above mentioned ranks are mentioned for example and the actual split will be done by VIT admissions.

VITMEE rank based counselling will take place and each branch is alloted some seats in each category. Basically categories are like rounds, where the fee structure increases as the category round increases.
