60% minimum marks are required for admission in LPU.

For VIT, you have to score at least 60% in HSC.

The percentage is only required to attend the entrance examination taken by VIT. The criteria is you must score at least 60 percent to be eligible for appearing entrance examination and if you are fresher and you quality the examination then it will require 60 percent to get admission. For VIT, a candidate should have secured 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology taken together in 10+2 or equivalent exam Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories and North-East should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology.
