In what mode is the IMU CET exam held?

Thousands of students apply for this exam every year to seek admission to courses in Marine Engineering or related fields. In the year 2025, the <strong>IMU CET 2025 exam is expected to be held in June. </strong>Students must keep a check on the official websites for all exam related updates. The admission to Lateral Entry will be through concerned campus where the programme is being conducted. However, IMU CET for PhD courses is held in offline mode.</p>

<p>The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level admission test. The Indian Maritime University (IMU) administers computer-based tests (CBT) to candidates each year for admission to its 6 campuses. Candidates who want to enroll in the BE/BTech (Marine Engineering), BSc (Nautical Science), and Diploma in Nautical Science programmes must take the IMU CET. Multiple choice questions are asked on the IMU CET, which is conducted in English. The exam lasts for three hours in total. The format and number of questions in the IMU CET are different for admission to different UG, PG, diploma, and PhD programmes.&nbsp;</p>
