    It depends upon your JEE marks. If you want to go for good colleges then go for VITEEE, SRMJEE, UPSEAT, etc.

    You can do B.Tech in automobile engineering and for this you have to crack JEE Mains or state based joint entrance exam wherever applicable.

    Hi,
    -To become an automobile engineer:
    1) You need to pursue engineering degree / diploma first with a strong base in science and mathematics.
    2) After graduation you can go for M.E./M.Tech in automobile engineering.
    3) You may even opt for short / long term courses comprising of different levels such as designing, development or manufacturing with automotive. It depends on you where do you want to fit in.
    - As an automobile engineer, you can find employment in:
    Manufacturing industries
    Production plants
    Service stations
    State road transport corporations
    Private transport companies
    Insurance companies
    Motor vehicle departments
