    Hi,
    If you are among the top three placeholders of any board, then you get direct admission in some of the colleges like VIT-Vellore, SRM-Chennai and even in universities like Thapar University and GGSIPU. But, for most of the central and government-funded institutes, you have to fulfill the basic criteria of at least JEE Mains.

    Hello friend,
    Well, for admission in Engineering, you must have to appear for the Joint entrance examination. Some of the colleges offers direct admission through management quota or NRI quota.
    But on the basis of 12th marks you can't take admission in the engineering.
    So, better to appear for any of the Engineering Entrance examination such as AIEEE, IIT, WBJEE, etc.
