If you are among the top three placeholders of any board, then you get direct admission in some of the colleges like VIT-Vellore, SRM-Chennai and even in universities like Thapar University and GGSIPU. But, for most of the central and government-funded institutes, you have to fulfill the basic criteria of at least JEE Mains.

There are many private colleges like SRM, VIT, Manipal University , Amity University, but in case you want to take part in an NIT or IIEST or IIT, then you got to do well in JEE Mains and Advance.

    Hello Parth,
I can understand and appreciate your angst. What went wrong in JEE Mains? Can you analyze and take corrective action? If yes then do take a break of one year, study with renewed vigor. You may succeed exceptionally well.
