There are other good colleges, where you need not give CAT to pursue MBA. Except XAT, all other exams are pretty easy as compared to CAT. Some of these are: NMIMS(Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad) - NMAT exam. Symbiosis(Pune) - SNAP exam. JBIMS, Wellingkar, K.J. Somaiya(all Mumbai) - MH-CET. XLRI(Jamsh

Basu, certain average colleges offer you admission without CAT but then they don't talk of placements. The best like IIMs, etc take admission with CAT only. Certain private ones like LPU, AMU, BMLMU, etc offer admissions with CAT/XAT/MAT or their own tests. They even have good placements. Check wi

Hi Basu, It is very important to appear for any kind of entrance test to get an admission into any of the reputed business school.
