<p>SSC JE exam is conducted in two modes- i) Computer Based Test and ii) Conventional Mode. The details of these modes have been given below for the candidates:</p><p>Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode:</p><p>The SSC JE Paper 1 (Objective Type) exam is conducted in CBT mode. Candidates have to answer multiple choice questions using a mouse or a touch screen.&nbsp;</p><p>Conventional Paper-Pen Mode:&nbsp;</p><p>SSC JE Paper 2 (Convntional Type) exam is conducted in offline pen paper mode. Candidates have to write down answers on the question sheet provided. The mode of Paper 2 also depends upon the specific job profile.</p><p>To conclude, SSC JE Paper 1 is conducted in online mode (CBT) whereas Paper 2 can be either in CBT or conventional paper-pen mode depending on the specific post/subject.</p>
